The person behind the mission

In my quest of learning who I am and my attempt at creating a “successful” life. I inquired about others, their roots, and what made them who they were. I was eager to find out the algorithm to be successful and well-traveled.

After working alongside public officials, nonprofit CEOs, and business owners; I realized we all are trying to figure out and enjoy this thing called life. However, high performers and successful individuals had traits that set them apart from others. There is something about a person that loves what they do, a glow of purpose and determination. And that was the type of success I wanted to attain and share with others.

Working in community development internationally and domestic, I noticed a common theme. The preconceived notions people have of a place unknown to them and the bridge missing to connect one another. Technology and the internet are shaping how we learn, connect, and communicate for better or worse. I’m taking the opportunity to support others in creating bridges and moments that bring people together to thrive. For the unknown to become known. For people to see themselves in others, to create new collaborations together. Instilling that it is possible to do what you love. It is possible to live the life you dreamed.
